ISTVAN, HEAD CHEF
Istvan has been part of the kitchen team since 2016 and is indispensable. As Chef de Cuisine, he is constantly working on new dishes for our guests.
"I am thrilled to be part of such a great team and to witness "The Bank Brasserie & Bar" becoming a hotspot in Vienna's first district. Together with my team, we will regularly present great new dishes and hopefully surprise our guests."

The man with the weakness for everything that tastes particularly good! His Rahmschmarrn is legendary, his dessert creations unique and his good humor contagious.

The Bavarian deputy to the head chef. The chef's right-hand man has been an officially certified Master Chef since 2018 and has been part of The Bank team since 2016.

The Chef Saucier loves everything to do with meat and sauces. The Viennese loves nature and therefore lives outside of Vienna in the countryside. He also takes care of the apprentices with dedication as a trainer and provides with his Viennese humor for a good mood in the kitchen.
OLEG, DEMI CHEF DE PARTIE
His area is the saucier position. The happy father of two children started with us as an inter-company apprentice and has now been a permanent and important part of the team for many years.
NIKOLINA, DEMI CHEF DE PARTIE
Our dear breakfast fairy. Together with Andreas, she has been taking care of the most important meal of the day for many years. She takes care of our apprentices with infinite patience and is popular in the team for her incredibly great mise en place.
GABRIEL, Chef de partie
Gabriel has only recently joined The Bank kitchen team, but has quickly established himself as a key colleague in the entrée kitchen. He is dedicated and brings a breath of fresh air to the kitchen with his innovative suggestions.
GREGOR, SOUS CHEF
The appetizer master! In addition to creating great appetizers, he is particularly fond of cheese. Here he is a specialist and knows his way around incredibly well. The dad loves life and people, and you can feel it. He is very popular in the team as a colleague who always remains positive. In addition to his duties in the kitchen, he is also part of the Green Team and ensures that processes in the kitchen are designed to protect our environmental resources.
CHRIS, CHEF DE PARTIE
His responsibility is with the entrees. From the legendary The Bank Beef Tatar to fresh salads, he loves trying new things and creatively implementing ideas with his team. In his team he is especially known for his big heart.
ANDREAS, CHEF DE PARTIE
The early bird catches the worm and our Andreas prepares breakfast for our guests. When we all turn over in bed once again, his alarm clock has been ringing for a long time. Mr. Breakfast, as he is called in our house, makes sure with love and passion that no culinary wishes of our breakfast guests remain unfulfilled.
ALEXANDER, COMMIS DE CUISINE
Alex also completed his apprenticeship with us and now supports the breakfast team in word and deed. Our Alex is always up for a joke and is described by the team as very funny but also dedicated.
